Worship

Whoever you are, you are welcome to join us in worship.

Worship is the most important thing a Christian does. Week by week, month by month, we gather to praise the one who made us, to give thanks for our redemption and to build one another up in Christ’s service. It does not matter if you are not able to pray yourself – whether because you are not sure of your faith, or simply because your heart is not in it for whatever reason – we pray as a body, carrying one another. In the same way, do not worry if you’re not sure what to do or what to say, you can just let the service wash over you until you feel confident to join in.

At the moment, all our regular worship in on Sunday, and our usual Sunday worship in the benefice is Holy Communion but this is under review, so please check these pages regularly. If you are accustomed to receiving the bread and wine in your own church, you are welcome to receive it here, and all are welcome to the altar for a blessing.

Our services are generally followed by refreshments and you are always welcome to join us for coffee.

Do please make yourself known if you are visiting for the first time, so that we can welcome you, and help you find your way round the service. You can find details of church services on the what’s on page of this website or by joining our email circulation list.  To join, please email the Benefice Administrator on office@highwealdchurches.org.uk
